JDRF Walk for a Cure

I had the opportunity of being with a wonderful family and sharing something very important to them. They are all strong and caring and they have fantastic young man whom they all love and care for very much! He is a great kid!! His name is Gabe and he is living with diabetes. His parents found out 2 years ago and it hit them hard and fast. I got to share a day with them as we took a wonderful walk around the city of Greenville, SC. It was supposed to be a 5k but we think they tricked us... haha. It was so much fun to see his family come to walk to support the cure. JDRF had a wonderful organization to help raise funds to find a cure. As we walked we all just had fun and we talked and told stories and really got to know each other better. As an outsider I can say that this little boy is so blessed to have grandparents and aunts and uncles and friends who back up his parents on this journey. They are so great and I am so thankful I got to share such an important event with their family and all the other families who came to walk that day. God puts people in your life for a reason, and I am so thankful it was this family that God put in mine because they know how to show LOVE to anyone without ever saying a word.
